World War II grafitto

The sexual urge of the camel
Is greater than anyone thinks
After several months on the desert
It attempted a rape on the Sphinx
Now the intimate parts of that lady
Are buried 'neath the sands of the Nile
Hence the hump on the back of the camel
And the Sphinx's inscrutable smile.

This was found on a wall in Cairo, Egypt during World War II. It was probably written by a member of the British 8th Army.
