This demands some explanation. ALICE is an early AI conversation bot. The programming that goes into ALICE is very primitive by comparison with CleverBot, and the comments tend to be random and often irrelevant. Just for the hell of it, I fired up ALICE and Cleverbot at the same time. As always, the user's comments are in grey, CleverBot's in blue.
Then I had the bright idea of seeing what happened when they spoke to each other, so I copied and pasted the comments to each page. The results were generally underwhelming, except for this. Now ALICE's comments are in grey, CleverBot's in blue.
